Agar medium for the quantitative detection of the total germ count in the beverage and food industry.

  • Ready-to-use, liquefaction possible directly in the bottle
  • Universal applicable (membrane filtration, pouring and spread plate method)
  • Reference medium, pH neutral

The number of detectable microorganisms is an important indicator for quality assurance. The medium is also known as Bacteria Count Agar or Caseine-peptone Dextrose Yeast Agar and complies with the requirements of EN ISO 4833 and ISO 17410.
