STEMdiff™ Endothelial Expansion Culture Kit

Serum- and xeno-free medium and attachment substrate for expansion of human pluripotent stem cell-derived endothelial cells.

Efficiently expand human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC)-derived endothelial cells using xeno-free STEMdiff™ Endothelial Expansion Culture Kit (Catalog #100-1218). This kit includes xeno-free STEMdiff™ Endothelial Expansion Basal Medium and 5X Supplement, and Animal Component-Free Cell Attachment Substrate, and is is optimised for the expansion of hPSC-derived endothelial cells and for the maintenance of endothelial marker expression. After 7 days of mesoderm and endothelial induction, the resulting cells can be expanded for 5 - 6 passages to generate large numbers of highly pure, mature endothelial cells that typically reach ≥ 99% CD144+CD31+ by passage 2 and maintain this phenotype until passage 5. This kit is compatible with hPSCs maintained in mTeSR™1, mTeSR™ Plus, or TeSR™-E8™ on Corning® Matrigel®. The components of STEMdiff™ Endothelial Expansion Culture Kit are included in STEMdiff™ Endothelial Differentiation Kit. For passaging, Animal Component-Free Cell Dissociation Kit is required.

NOTE: Heparin Solution is required for preparation of complete STEMdiff™ Endothelial Expansion Medium. CollPlant is the manufacturer of the rhCollagen component of the cell attachment substrate.
