The GeneClean® Turbo for PCR Kit removes primers, nucleotides, enzymes, mineral oil, salts, and other impurities from DNA samples. DNA fragments purified with this kit are ready for direct use in all applications, including sequencing, microarray analysis, ligation and transformation, restriction digestion and labeling.

The kit contains Glassmilk® embedded filters in unique Turbo cartridges for maximal efficiency and convenience. Glassmilk® filters are able to preferentially bind nucleic acids in the presence of high salts and low pH. Since the binding process is specific for nucleic acids, the bound molecules can be separated and purified from impurities by simple washing steps. The DNA is then eluted from the matrix in low salt buffer or water, ready to use for downstream applications.
