About this item
Leu-Enkephalin is cleaved from the precursor Proenkephalin-A. Leu-Enkephalin is an endogenous opioid peptide that interacts with opioid receptors and produces analgesic effects.
Antibody recognizes Leu-Enkephalin in native applications. A dilution of 5-10 µg/ml is recommended for immunohistochemistry using formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues and for 4% paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissues. A dilution of 5-15 µg/ml is recommended for immunofluorescence. . Biosensis recommends optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. Cross reactivity: Human; mouse; rat. Leu-Enkephalin is highly conserved so cross-reactivity with other species is expected. Cross-reactivity with other opioid peptides is as follows: with Met-enkephalin 0.93%; with beta-lipotropin 0.01%; with beta-endorphin 0.01%
