Physics Educational Materials
Avantor offers a complete catalog of instruments and tools useful for demonstrating key, basic concepts of physics that are applicable to everyday life both in and out of the laboratory. Demonstrate core ideas such as acceleration down a plane, friction, potential and kinetic energy, electrical conductivity, magnetic fields, wavelengths and velocity of sound, and more. Durable educational materials are designed for heavy use with consistent levels of handling, and all models are easy to use.

Demonstration instruments for measuring inserts
Supplier: PHYWE
With a special addition, the analogue instrument can be turned into a digital instrument with simultaneous analogue display. In order to extend the measurement possibilities, there are also measurements for power and voltage amplification. The replaceable measuring areas are slid into a slot on the top of the instrument ('toaster principle').

Thermos stack according to Moll
Supplier: PHYWE
Used to detect thermal radiation, visible light and ultraviolet light. The sensitivity is wavelength dependent in the range 150 nm-15 µm. The output voltage is closely proportional to the incident radiant energy. Suitable for measuring small temperature differences. Quick stabilization, 2-3 p. Consists of 16 series-connected thermocouples placed in a conical reflector. The elements are protected by a high-gloss metal cylinder, which is fitted with a removable protective glass at the front. Suitable for use with, for example, microvolt amplifiers 765-1293 in conjunction with demonstration instruments 765-1247 or for connection to Phywe's large analog or digital demonstration multimeters. Comes with protective tube and gap.

Hydrostatic paradox
Supplier: CORNELSEN EXPERIMENTA
Shows that the bottom pressure in a liquid depends only on the height and not the shape of the container. The fluid pressure is transferred via a rubber diaphragm to an adjustable hand. Comes with four containers of different shapes. Dimensions.

Wire beam tube e / m
Supplier: PHYWE
Ice cream sphere filled with noble gas of low pressure. The tube's two cylindrical necks are protected by plastic sleeves and are designed to fit in Helmholtz coils 765-1207. The tube is used to show how an electron beam is deflected in a magnetic field. If the tube is in a homogeneous magnetic field with sufficient strength, the electron beam becomes circular. The tube is equipped with an internal measuring scale with fluorescent markings at distances of 4, 6, 8 and 10 cm (2r) from the cathode. The tube is well suited for determining the charge-mass ratio of the electron with great accuracy.

Plate capacitor
Supplier: PHYWE
Precision capacitor for electrostatic tests e.g. examination of the relationship between charge, voltage and capacitance. Measurement of the dielectric constant and the electrostatic induction constant. The permanently mounted plate is well insulated while the movable plate is mounted directly in the stand. The distance between the capacitor plates can be adjusted with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. Distance between plates 0 to 70 mm.

Thermogenerator, peltier element
Supplier: CORNELSEN EXPERIMENTA
72 series-connected semiconductor elements, mounted between two ceramic plates which in turn are attached to heat-conducting metal. If the metals are exposed to different temperatures, a voltage arises, sufficient to drive, for example, a slightly rotating motor. The thermogenerator can also be run in the other direction, ie. a voltage is connected and a temperature difference is obtained across the metal legs.
