Human recombinant BMP2 (from E. coli)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP-2) is a member of the BMP subgroup of the TGF-beta superfamily. It plays a dominant role in embryonic dorsalventral patterning, organogenesis, limb bud formation and bone formation and regeneration. BMP-2 signals through heterodimeric complexes composed of a type I receptor (Activin RI, BMP-RIA or BMP-RIB) and a type II receptor (BMP-RII or Activin RIIB). BMP-2 induces chondrocyte proliferation, endochondral bone formation, longitudinal bone growth and bone and cartilage repair. It induces ectopic bone formation or calcification by promoting osteogenic and chondrogenic differentiation in mesenchymal cells, stem cells and vascular smooth muscle cells. It also promotes the maintenance and repair of colonic epithelium, suppresses neuronal dopamine synthesis and release, induces apoptosis in medulloblastoma cells and is required for cardiac contractility.

M. tuberculosis Recombinant NAD Kinase (from E. coli)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
NAD kinase catalyses the transfer of a phosphate group from ATP to NAD+ to generate NADP+, which in its reduced form acts as an electron donor for biosynthetic reactions. NADP+ is an essential coenzyme in metabolism and provides reducing power to biosynthetic processes such as fatty acid biosynthesis. NAD kinase from Mycobacterium tuberculosis is not ATP-dependent but has a broader substrate specificity than human NAD kinase. It can economically produce NADP+ by using other nucleoside triphosphates as well as inorganic polyphosphate as a source of phosphorus. Was identified as a high-confidence drug target. Catalytic activity: ATP + NAD+ = ADP + NADP+.

Anti-EPAC1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
EPAC1 Antibody: EPAC1, also known as Rap guanine nuclear exchange factor 3 and cAMPGEF-I, is widely expressed but most prominently in brain, heart, kidney, pancreas, spleen, ovary, thyroid and spinal cord. EPAC1 is a cAMP-binding protein with intrinsic guanine nuclear exchange factor activity that couples cAMP production to the activation of Rap, a GTPase belonging to the Ras family. This activation of Rap influences numerous cellular processes such as integrin-mediated cell adhesion, vascular endothelial barrier formation, and cardiac myocyte gap junction formation. Recently, EPAC1 has been suggested to also be involved in the cAMP-dependent regulation of ion channel formation, intracellular Ca++ signalling, ion transporter activity, and exocytosis.

Anti-DISP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
DISP1 Antibody: DISP1 is the mammalian homolog of the Drosophila Dispatched segment-polarity gene and a key regulator of the Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway during embryonic development. DISP1 is required to move Shh from site of synthesis during embryogenesis; mutations in the gene result in lethality at mid-gestation and prevents specification of ventral cell types in the neural tube. Recent results have shown that DISP1 mediates the basolateral secretion of Shh and regulates growth of mammalian long bones through the control of Ihh.

Anti-FCHSD1 Chicken Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
FCHSD1 Antibody: The FCH and double SH3 domains protein 1 (FCHSD1, also known as NWK2) and the related protein FCHSD2 were initially identified in silico as distantly related proteins to FNBP1 and FNBP2. Both share the common domain structure consisting of FCH, FBH, two SH3 and C-terminal proline-rich domains. While little is known of the function of FCHSD1, the related protein NWK is an adaptor protein that is thought to regulate Rho activity downstream of Robo receptors, suggesting that FCHSD1 may be involved in synaptic morphology by regulating actin dynamics in presynaptic terminals.

Anti-TEAD4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
TEAD4 is a member of the transcriptional enhancer factor (TEF) family of transcription factors, which contain the TEA/ATTS DNA-binding domain. TEAD4 is preferentially expressed in the skeletal muscle, and binds to the M-CAT regulatory element found in promoters of muscle-specific genes to direct their gene expression. Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding distinct isoforms, some of which are translated through the use of a non-AUG (UUG) initiation codon, have been described for this protein. This gene product is a member of the transcriptional enhancer factor (TEF) family of transcription factors, which contain the TEA/ATTS DNA-binding domain. Anti-RKHD4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Rkhd4 Antibody: Rkhd4, also known as MEX3A is a member of a novel family of four homologous human MEX3 proteins each containing two heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K homology (KH) domains and one carboxy-terminal RING finger module. MEX3 proteins, including Rkhd4, are phosphoproteins that bind RNA through their KH domains and shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm via the CRM1 export pathway. These proteins are a novel family of evolutionarily conserved RNA-binding proteins, differentially recruited to P bodies and potentially involved in post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms. While Rkhd2 has been suggested to be associated with susceptibility to essential hypertension type 8, the function of Rkhd4 remains unknown. Rkhd3 and Rkhd4, but not Rkhd2, co-localize with both the hDcp1a decapping factor and Argonaute (Ago) proteins in processing bodies (P bodies), recently characterized as centers of mRNA turnover.

Anti-METTL7A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
MettL7A Antibody: MettL7A belongs to the methyltransferase superfamily. It is a probable methyltransferase. Methyltransferase is a type of transferase enzyme which transfers a methyl group from a donor to an acceptor. Often methylation occurs on nucleic bases in DNA or amino acids in protein structures. DNA methylation is often utilized to silence and regulate genes without changing the original DNA sequence. DNA methylation may be necessary for normal growth from embryonic stages in mammals. When mutant embryonic stem cells lacking the murine DNA methyltransferase gene were introduced to a germline of mice they caused a recessive lethal phenotype. Methylation may also be linked to cancer development as methylation of tumor suppressor genes promotes tumorgenesis and metastasis.

Anti-Neucrin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
NEUCRIN Antibody: Neucrin, also known as Draxin, is a repulsive guidance protein for the spinal cord and forebrain commissures. It is thought to act as an antagonist of canonical Wnt signaling by inhibiting the stabilization of cytosolic beta-catenin. Ectopically expressed neucrin inhibited growth or caused misrouting of chick spinal cord commissural axons in vivo while Neucrin-null mice showed defasciculation of spinal cord commissural axons and an absence of all forebrain commisures. Other experiments in mice have shown that olfactory bulb axonal outgrowth is inhibited by Neucrin, suggesting that Neucrin functions as an inhibitory guidance cue for olfactory bulb axons.

Anti-DISP2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Disp2 Antibody: Disp2 is the second of three known homologs of the D. melanogaster protein Dispatched. It is a multi-transmembrane protein containing two PTCH/DISP domains and is thought to be involved in the release of lipid-anchored Hedgehog from producing cells. Hedgehog is a major player in signaling pathways during embryogenesis, tissue regeneration, and carcinogenesis and the Disp proteins have been implicated in these pathways. Recently, it has been shown that Disp2 is translationally regulated by the microRNA miR-214 in zebrafish. Expression of this miRNA decreased Disp2 promoter activity in vitro and its overexpression in zebrafish resulted in a phenotype identical to that observed by Disp2 mutants. At least two isoforms of Disp2 are known to exist. This Disp2 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with Disp1 or Disp3.
