Anti-SCT Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)

Supplier: Bioss

Secretin belongs to the glucagon family. This protein is an endocrine hormone and its major site of production is the endocrine S cells located in the proximal small intestinal mucosa. The release of active secretin is stimulated by either fatty acids or an acidic pH in the duodenum. This hormone stimulates the secretion of bicarbonate-rich pancreatic fluids and has also been shown to regulate the growth and development of the stomach, small intestine, and pancreas. Secretin deficiency has been implicated in autistic syndrome, suggesting that the hormone could have a neuroendocrine function in addition to its role in digestion.

Anti-FUNDC1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)

Supplier: Bioss

FUNDC1 is a 155 amino acid protein belonging to the FUN14 family. The gene encoding FUNDC1 maps to human chromosome Xp11.3 and mouse chromosome X A1.2. The X and Y chromosomes are the human sex chromosomes. Chromosome X consists of about 153 million base pairs and nearly 1,000 genes. The combination of an X and Y chromosome lead to normal male development while two copies of X lead to normal female development. More than one copy of the X chromosome with a Y chromosome causes Klinefelter's syndrome. A single copy of X alone leads to Turner's syndrome. More than 2 copies of the X chromosome, in the absence of a Y chromosome, is known as Triple X syndrome. Color blindness, hemophilia, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy are well known X chromosome-linked conditions which affect males more frequently as males carry a single X chromosome.

Anti-FANCA Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)

Supplier: Bioss

Fanconi anemia (FA) is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by bone marrow failure, birth defects and chromosomal instability. At the cellular level, FA is characterized by spontaneous chromosomal breakage and a unique hypersensitivity to DNA cross-linking agents. At least eight complementation groups (A-G) have been identified and six FA genes (for subtypes A, C, D2, E, F and G) have been cloned. The FA proteins lack sequence homologies or motifs that could point to a molecular function. The cellular accumulation of FA proteins, including FANCA and FANCG, is subject to regulation by TNF alpha signaling. Phosphorylation of FANC (Fanconi anemia complementation group) proteins is thought to be important for the function of the FA pathway. FANCA, also known as FACA and FANCH, associates with the Brm-related gene 1 (BRG1) product, a subunit of the SWI/SNF complex which remodels chromatin structure through a DNA-dependent ATPase activity. FANCA is mainly expressed in lymphoid tissues, testis and ovary. The amino-terminal region of the FANCA protein is required for FANCG binding, FANCC binding, nuclear localization and functional activity of the complex. The human FANCA gene maps to chromosome 16q24.3 and encodes a 1,455 amino acid protein.

Anti-YEATS4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)

Supplier: Bioss

Gene amplification is associated with tumor stage and progression in human gliomas. Several amplified loci are identified and comprise multiple genes. The glioma amplified sequence 41 (GAS41) is an evolutionarily conserved eukaryotic protein found in diverse species. GAS41 is related to the AF-9 and ENL proteins, which are putative transcription factors in some acute leukemias, and interacts with a component of the nuclear matrix, NuMA, in interphase cells. GAS41 has a dotted staining pattern in interphase nuclei and a uniform distribution in mitotic cells. GAS41 is ubiquitously expressed, with the highest levels of expression in human brain. In neuroblastoma, GAS41 is located in the nucleoli, but not in the nucleoplasm. GAS41 also binds to the MLL fusion partner AF10, which is involved in two distinct chromosomal translocations associated with hematologic malignancy. In addition, GAS41 interacts with INI1 (Integrase Interactor), which is a human homologue of the yeast SNF5 protein, a component of the SWI/SNF complex. The GAS41 gene maps to human chromosome 12q13-q15.

Anti-INS Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)

Supplier: Bioss

C Peptide is part of the molecule of Proinsulin, that consists of three parts: C Peptide and two long strands of amino acids (called the alpha and beta chains) that later become linked together to form the insulin molecule. From every molecule of proinsulin, one molecule of insulin plus one molecule of C Peptide are produced. C peptide is released into the blood stream in equal amounts to insulin. A test of C peptide levels will show how much insulin the body is making. Insulin decreases blood glucose concentration. It increases cell permeability to monosaccharides, amino acids and fatty acids. It accelerates glycolysis, the pentose phosphate cycle, and glycogen synthesis in liver.

Anti-C3 Goat Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)

Supplier: Bioss

The complement factor C3 consists of an alpha and a beta chain. C3 is a central factor in the complement cascade. It is central to the alternative pathway that leads to the C3 convertase C3bBb. The classical mannose binding lectin activation pathway leads to the C3 convertase C4b2a. These convertases cleave C3 resulting in C3a and C3b. Further degradation leads to the formation of the alpha chain products C3d, C3g and C3c. C3 is an acute phase protein that is produced by a wide range of tissues, including renal epithelial cells and hepatocytes.
