Anti-EEF1D Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)
Supplier: Bioss
This gene encodes a subunit of the elongation factor-1complex, which is responsible for the enzymatic delivery ofaminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. This subunit, delta, functions asguanine nucleotide exchange factor. It is reported that followingHIV-1 infection, this subunit interacts with HIV-1 Tat. Thisinteraction results in repression of translation of host cellproteins and enhanced translation of viral proteins. Severalalternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multipleisoforms have been found for this gene. Related pseudogenes havebeen defined on chromosomes 1, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 17, 19.[provided byRefSeq, Aug 2010].

Anti-EMP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)
Supplier: Bioss
Epithelial membrane protein-1 (EMP-1) is a four pass transmembrane protein consisting of 160 amino acids. It is a member of a small family of epithelial membrane proteins. EMP-1 is very similar in structure to its close relative, Peripheral Myelin Protein 22 (PMP22). It is most predominantly expressed in tissues of the gastrointestinal tract but has also been found to be a junctional protein in the liver expressed along the intercellular border. EMP-1 directly interacts with the C-terminus of the P2X7 receptor and may be involved in membrane blebbing. EMP-1 may also be an important regulator in cell communication, signaling, and adhesion. When EMP-1 is overexpressed, cell proliferation is inhibited, S phase is arrested and G1 phase is prolonged in esophogeal cancer cells. EMP-1 may play a role in tumorigenesis and has been identified as a biomarker for gefitinib treatment resistance for patients with lung cancer.

Anti-PTP4A2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)
Supplier: Bioss
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a small class of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are cell signaling molecules that play regulatory roles in a variety of cellular processes. PTPs in this class contain a protein tyrosine phosphatase catalytic domain and a characteristic C-terminal prenylation motif. This PTP has been shown to primarily associate with plasmic and endosomal membrane through its C-terminal prenylation. This PTP was found to interact with the beta-subunit of Rab geranylgeranyltransferase II (beta GGT II), and thus may function as a regulator of GGT II activity. Overexpression of this gene in mammalian cells conferred a transformed phenotype, which suggested its role in tumorigenesis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. Related pseudogenes exist on chromosomes 11, 12 and 17. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]

PIP3 plays a key role by recruiting PH domain-containing proteins to the membrane, including AKT1 and PDPK1, activating signaling cascades involved in cell growth, survival, proliferation, motility and morphology. Mediates immune responses. Plays a role in B-cell development, proliferation, migration, and function. Required for B-cell receptor (BCR) signaling. Mediates B-cell proliferation response to anti-IgM, anti-CD40 and IL4 stimulation. Promotes cytokine production in response to TLR4 and TLR9. Required for antibody class switch mediated by TLR9. Involved in the antigen presentation function of B-cells. Involved in B-cell chemotaxis in response to CXCL13 and sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P). Required for proliferation, signaling and cytokine production of naive, effector and memory T-cells. Required for T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. Mediates TCR signaling events at the immune synapse. Activation by TCR leads to antigen-dependent memory T-cell migration and retention to antigenic tissues. Together with PIK3CG participates in T-cell development. Contributes to T-helper cell expansion and differentiation. Required for T-cell migration mediated by homing receptors SELL/CD62L, CCR7 and S1PR1 and antigen dependent recruitment of T-cells. Together with PIK3CG is involved in natural killer (NK) cell development and migration towards the sites of inflammation. Participates in NK cell receptor activation. Have a role in NK cell maturation and cytokine production. Together with PIK3CG is involved in neutrophil chemotaxis and extravasation. Together with PIK3CG participates in neutrophil respiratory burst. Have important roles in mast-cell development and mast cell mediated allergic response. Involved in stem cell factor (SCF)-mediated proliferation, adhesion and migration.

Anti-FADD Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)
Supplier: Bioss
FADD (Fas Associated Death Domain) is an apoptosis adapter molecule enabling transduction of the apoptosis signal initiated via the FasL/Fas receptor interaction. The protein contains a C terminal death domain that interacts with the Fas receptor death domain. The N terminus contains a death effectors domain (DED) which recruits caspase to the death inducing signaling complex (DISC) and initiates the apoptotic caspase cascade. Recruitment of Caspase 8 to the Fas receptor results in oligomerization of the Caspase 8 protein, which in turn drives its autoactivation through self-cleavage. Activated Caspase 8 then activates other downstream caspases including Caspase 9, thereby commiting the cell to undergo apoptosis. FADD is implicated in non-apoptotic cellular pathways such as the regulation of cell cycle machinery in T lymphocytes. This is connected to the phosphorylation state of FADD and to the FasL/TRAIL induced transcriptional activation of cfos protooncogene. FADD also interacts with the hepatitis C virus core protein in the HEK 293 cell line.

Anti-GOX Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)
Supplier: Bioss
Glucose Oxidase is a dimeric enzyme that binds to β-D-glucose and aids in its oxidation into D-glucono-1,5-lactone which then hydrolyzes to gluconic acid. Flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) is a cofactor to Glucose Oxidase that acts as the initial electron acceptor and is required for this oxidation to occur. Glucose Oxidase is a natural preservative found in honey, where it reduces atmospheric oxygen into hydrogen peroxide which acts as an antibacterial barrier. Glucose Oxidase is also commonly used in biosensors in which it conveys levels of glucose by keeping track of the number of electrons passed through the enzyme. In this application, Glucose Oxidase is connected to an electrode and the resulting charge is measured.

Anti-FGF13 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 647)
Supplier: Bioss
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion. This gene is located in a region on chromosome X, which is associated with Borjeson-Forssman-Lehmann syndrome (BFLS), making it a possible candidate gene for familial cases of the BFLS, and for other syndromal and nonspecific forms of X-linked mental retardation mapping to this region. Fibroblast growth factor 13 (FGF13) is probably involved in nervous system development and function. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants encoding different isoforms with different N-termini.
