The HRF range of horizontal air recirculating chamber furnaces is available with a maximum operating temperature of 750 °C and is particularly suitable for stress relieving, tempering, normalising, annealing and other low temperature heat treatment processes.

Heating is provided by resistance wire elements on both sides of the chamber. A powerful centrifugal fan and airguide system forces air over the elements and back through the work chamber, providing uniform temperature distribution and rapid heat transfer to the workpiece. A combination of insulation is used, low thermal mass ceramic fibre insulation, which ensures low energy losses and refractory board below the hearth provide load bearing capacity.
