VTCN1 Antibody: T cell immunity plays a critical role in host immune surveillance of tumour cell growth and metastatic spread. VTCN1, also known as B7-H4, is a member of the B7 family of immune regulatory molecules. Expressed primarily on the membrane of lymphoid cells, VTCN1 is an immunoinhibitory protein that interacts with receptors on the surface of T lymphocytes, thus mediating cellular and humoral immune responses. Overexpression of VTCN1 is associated with certain malignancies, including ovarian and breast cancer, which may be a mechanism by which tumour cells suppress T cell immunity and facilitate tumour progression. VTCN1 may thus be a useful biomarker for the early detection of ovarian cancer.

SDPR Antibody: The serum deprivation-response protein (SDPR) is a calcium-independent phospholipid-binding protein whose expression is increased in serum-starved cells. SDPR is a substrate for protein kinase C (PKC) phosphorylation and recruits the polymerase I and transcript release factor (PTRF) to caveolae. Removal of this protein causes caveolae loss and its over-expression results in caveolae deformation and membrane tubulation. Both SDPR and PTRF, as well as the other member of the cavin family PRKCDBP were down regulated in breast cancer cell lines and breast tumor tissue, suggesting that expression of the cavin family proteins could be a useful prognostic indicator of breast cancer progression.

p16 (cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A, INK4a) is a tumor suppressor protein. It is a specific inhibitor of Cdk 4 / Cdk 6, and a tumor suppressor involved in the pathogenesis of a variety of malignancies. Recent analyses of the p16 INK4a gene revealed homozygous deletions, nonsense, missense, or frameshift mutations in several human cancers. Although the frequency of p16 INK4a abnormalities is higher in tumor derived cell lines than in unselected primary tumors, significant subsets of clinical cases with aberrant p16 INK4a gene have been reported among melanomas, gliomas, esophageal, pancreatic, lung, and urinary bladder carcinomas, and some types of leukemia.

ATP-Binding Cassette Sub-Family B Member 1 (ABCB1, also named P-glycoprotein) is a plasma membrane-associated multidrug transporter that utilizes the energy of ATP hydrolysis to pump toxic xenobiotics out of cells. Unique features of ABCB1 are its very broad substrate specificity and its basal ATPase activity in the absence of transport substrates. Human ABCB1 plays an important role in absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and toxicity of pharmacologically relevant drugs. It is responsible for decreased drug accumulation in multidrug-resistant cells and often mediates the development of resistance to anti-cancer drugs. This protein also functions as a transporter across the blood-brain barrier.

JAKMIP1 Antibody: JAKMIP1, also known as Marlin-1, is a highly-conserved vertebrate-specific microtubule-associated protein that plays a role in JAK1 signaling and regulate microtubule cytoskeleton rearrangements. JAKMIP1 is expressed predominantly in neuronal and lymphoid cells and colocalizes with microtubules. Multiple isoforms of JAKMIP1 are known to exist: isoforms 1 and 5 are also expressed in liver, lung and skeletal muscle, while isoforms 2-4 are specifically expressed in brain and retina. IL-17RE Antibody: The interleukin 17 receptor E (IL-17RE) shares limited similarity to the receptor of IL-17A, a ubiquitous type I membrane glycoprotein that with IL-17A plays a pathogenic role in many inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. IL-17RE is the functional receptor of IL-17C and has been suggested to mediate mucosal immunity to infection with intestinal pathogens. PRKCDBP Antibody: The protein kinase C delta (PKC-δ) binding protein (PRKCDBP), also known as cavin-3, is a member of the cavin family of proteins that are involved in caveolin formation and regulation. PRKCDBP was initially identified in a screen of cultured cell lines for proteins that were strongly induced by serum starvation. Studies indicate that PRKCDBP binds not only to PKC-δ but also to caveolin-1 and helps regulate caveolin traffic and function. Similar to other members of the cavin family, the expression of PRKCDBP was found to be down-regulated in various cancer cell lines, suggesting a possible tumor suppressor function of PRKCDBP.

Nhe-1 Antibody: The Na+/H+ antiporter (Nhe-1) is a ubiquitous membrane-bound enzyme involved in pH regulation of vertebrate cells and is specifically inhibited by the diuretic drug amiloride and activated by a variety of signals including growth factors, mitogens, neurotransmitters, and tumor promoters.
