PIBF1 Antibody: PIBF1 is synthesized during pregnancy in response to progesterone by T lymphocytes. PIBF1 inhibits arachidonic acid release, controls NK activity, and modifies the cytokine balance exerting an anti-abortive effect. It contains a leucine zipper motif, a basic zipper sequence, a PEST sequence, a nuclear localization signal, an ER membrane retention signal and N-glycosylation and phosphorylation sites. PIBF1 is significantly higher in healthy pregnant women than in women at risk for premature pregnancy termination. Full-length PIBF1 is associated with the nucleus and functions as a transcription factor, whereas secretion of shorter forms which may act as cytokines is induced by activation of the cell.

STAT2 encoded by this gene is a member of the STAT protein family. Nestin, is a large intermediate filament protein (class Type VI) that was first identified with a monoclonal antibody by Hockfield and McKay (1985). Nestin is expressed predominantly in stem cells of the central nervous system in the neural tube. Nestin is expressed during development and in myotendinous and neuromuscular junctions. Nestin expression is restricted, typically disappearing by E18. Nestin is thought to be a reasonable neuronal marker; however, recent studies have found nestin expression in other cell types such as endothelial cells. Nestin expression is seen in almost all GBMs (Glioblastoma mulitformes) and many melanomas (both primary and metastatic) but not in any metastatic carcinomas. Upon terminal neural differentiation, nestin is downregulated and replaced by neurofilaments.

IL-36B is thought to activate the NF-kappaB pathway through IL-1 receptor family members IL-1RL2 and IL-1RAcP. ERRF Antibody: The estrogen receptor-related factor (ERRF) is a recently identified protein whose expression is upregulated in multiple cell lines and primary breast cancer tumors. Increased ERRF expression was significantly associated with ER or progesterone receptor (PR) positivity even in HER2-negative tumors. This higher ERRF expression correlated with better disease-free survival and overall survival. In two ER-positive breast cancer cell lines, knockdown of ERRF suppressed cell growth in vitro and tumorigenesis in xenograft models, suggesting that ERRF plays a role in estrogen-ER-mediated breast cancer cell growth and may thus be a potential therapeutic target.
