Anti-P2Y11 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 750)

Supplier: Bioss

P2Y purinoceptor 11 (P2Y11) is a 374 amino acid protein belonging to the G-protein coupled receptor one family. P2Y11 is a multi-pass cell membrane protein that acts as a receptor for both ATP and ATD coupled to G proteins. Due to these interactions, P2Y11 is involved in phosphatidylinositol-calcium and adenylyl cyclase pathways. Induced by DMSO and retinoic acid, P2Y11 is highly expressed in spleen tissue. A putative trans-splicing event involving the gene that encodes P2Y11 and an upstream gene encoding PPAN has been found to result in a fusion protein, designated PPAN-P2RY11.

Anti-CASP13 + CASP4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 750)

Supplier: Bioss

Caspase-13 (also designated Evolutionarily related interleukin-1beta converting enzyme ; ERICE) involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. Might function by either activating some proteins required for cell death or inactivating proteins necessary for cell survival. [subunit] Heterodimer of a small and a large subunit. The two subunits are derived from the precursor sequence by an autocatalytic mechanism or by cleavage by Caspase-8. Mainly expressed in peripheral blood lymphocytes, spleen and placenta. Belongs to peptidase family C14.

Anti-Acid Phosphatase Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 750)

Supplier: Bioss

Phosphatase enzymes catalyse hydrolysis of phosphoric acid esters of various alcohols, e.g. a hexose phosphate, to yield the alcohol and free inorganic phosphate. This may be a way of recycling phosphate in the cell, and the level of phosphate may be elevated under conditions of phosphate starvation (in algae for example). Acid phosphatases have pH optima below 7, whereas alkaline phosphatases are most active above pH 7. Commercial quantities of acid phosphatase are obtained from plant sources e.g. potato and wheat germ, whereas similar quantities of alkaline phosphatase are obtained from animal intestine and bacteria.

Anti-Histone H2A.Z Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 750)

Supplier: Bioss

Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a histone octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. This gene encodes a replication-independent member of the histone H2A family that is distinct from other members of the family. Studies in mice have shown that this particular histone is required for embryonic development and indicate that lack of functional histone H2A leads to embryonic lethality.

Anti-C20orf173 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy7®)

Supplier: Bioss

Representing about 2% of human DNA, chromosome 20 consists of approximately 63 million bases and 600 genes. Chromosome 20 contains a region with numerous genes expressed in the epididymis, which are thought important for seminal production, and some viewed as potential targets for male contraception. The PRNP gene encoding the prion protein associated with spongiform encephalopathies, like Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, is found on chromosome 20. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, spinal muscular atrophy, ring chromosome 20 epilepsy syndrome and Alagille syndrome are also associated with chromosome 20. The C20orf173 gene product has been provisionally designated C20orf173 pending further characterization.

Anti-Cathepsin L Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 680)

Supplier: Bioss

The protein encoded by this gene is a lysosomal cysteine proteinase that plays a major role in intracellular protein catabolism. Its substrates include collagen and elastin, as well as alpha-1 protease inhibitor, a major controlling element of neutrophil elastase activity. The encoded protein has been implicated in several pathologic processes, including myofibril necrosis in myopathies and in myocardial ischemia, and in the renal tubular response to proteinuria. This protein, which is a member of the peptidase C1 family, is a dimer composed of disulfide-linked heavy and light chains, both produced from a single protein precursor. At least two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
