MCDB 131 is a reduced serum-supplemented medium for the culture of human microvascular endothelial cells. This formulation has been reported to support clonal growth of human omental microvascular cells when supplemented with 0,7% dialysed FBS, 10 ng/ml EGF, and 1 μg/ml hydrocortisone.

Store powdered media at RT. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept refrigerated and used within a short period of time. Shipping temperature RT.
