Encapsulated housing for an installation, such as at the back wall of a safety cabinet. Safe signal exchange between explosion-hazardous and explosion-proof areas by galvanic isolation of the sensor side and the output side. In explosion-proof areas, the use of the b.safe Isolated Amplifier prevents possible ignitable sparks from the alarm electronics in the explosive atmosphere on the sensor side.
Combined with the b.safe Display or Mini-Display, the b.safe Isolated Amplifier enables an automatic recognition of sensors that are not connected or damaged, as well as line breaks. The use of the b.safe Isolated Amplifier with level controls, level sensors, and alarm boxes from other manufacturers must be checked on a case-by-case basis.
Includes power supply (90-264 V/47-63 Hz) with plug adapter for EU, Australia, USA, Japan, and UK. Switch position factory set for use with b.safe System Waste Caps LC. The installation of b.safe Isolated Amplifier and the connection of the signal cable has to be carried out by qualified personnel.
