About this item
BIOshell™ Glycan HPLC columns are specifically engineered to deliver fast, high resolution, reproducible gylcan identification using HILIC chromatography.
- Fused-Core®particle provides a thin porous shell of high-purity silica surrounding a solid silica core
- High column efficiency due to the shallow diffusion paths in the 0,5 µm thin porous shell
- Small overall particle size of 2,7 µm
BIOshell™ Glycan columns consist of a proprietary, pentahydroxy chemistry tethered to a 2,7 µm, 90 Å superfivially porous prticle (SPP). Main application is for the resolution of oligosaccarides (released and labeled glycans) via hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC). Increased retention of acidic and zwitterionnic analytes than bare silica columns. Each lot of BIOshell™ Glycan particles is tested for quality control by separation of a series of labeled glycans having 2-25 glycose unit (GU).
