Direct scale-up e.g. starting from a particle size of 5 µm to semi-preparative or preparative applications (up to 45 µm particle size) can be easily implemented. Of course, the same applies for a scale-down, e.g. to a 3 µm particle size, if a speed-optimised analytical method has to be established.
