The new CK5 continues the renowned Cleankeys® keyboard series and convinces with its smart design with uncompromising hygiene. Compact dimensions and a generous touch/num-pad surface make it possible to dispense with a PC mouse and predestine the CK5 for use in particularly space-constrained conditions. The ideal solution for mobile visit and ward trolleys or cramped medical workplaces.

Cleankeys® glass keyboards save valuable working time as well as process costs, allowing more time for the essentials. Worries about cleanliness and the risk of infection at the workplace are now a thing of the past. Thanks to the flat glass operating surface, the cleaning and disinfection process is simple, and the keyboard remains free of germs and pathogens. The capacitive keys are virtually wear-free and thus have a long service life. Since no pressure is required to operate the keys, the glass keyboard can also be easily operated by people with impaired tendon and joint apparatus.

The Cleankeys® CK5 demonstrably complies with the latest EMC guidelines of EN 60601-1-2 Edition 4. Especially in medical areas, such as doctor's offices and clinics, it is important that medical technology products are protected against malfunctions and failures caused by electrical emissions. Conversely, electrical devices must not be allowed to negatively influence their environment by emitting electromagnetic oscillations. The European product standard EN 60601-1-2 therefore requires 'electromagnetic immunity' of medical devices. This not only protects the devices, but also saves lives in an emergency. Cleankeys® brand glass keypads thus offer double protection, against both the fatal consequences of poor hospital hygiene and emission interference.

The Cleankeys® CK5 can be customised. By printing company logos or optically changing the keyboard layout, the glass keyboard becomes unmistakable and can be perfectly integrated into any company's existing corporate identity. To enable the use of the CK5 for users from all over the world, the glass keyboard can be provided with further country layouts in addition to the language versions already offered.
