Minisart® Ophthalsart with surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) is made for aqueous or oily solutions with a pH of 4 - 8. Type 17528 with a pore size of 0,2 µm can be used for sterile filtration and has a male luer slip outlet. Version K is individually packed and sterilised by ethylene oxide (EO). Only available in the EU/EEA and registered countries.

Individually packed and sterile Minisart® Ophthalsart syringe filters are optimal for immediate usage whenever sterile filtration or clarification under sterile conditions is needed.
The SFCA membrane is the best option for leachable free filtrations. The very low non-specific binding characteristics of this membrane makes it a perfect choice for biomolecule solutions.
The housing is made of the acrylic resin MBS (Methacrylate butadiene styrene) which has a limited compatibility with alcohols but is free of phthalates and passes the plastic class VI test. Housing and membrane are tightly connected which allows bidirectional use.
