About this item

NUCLEODUR® C4 ec is a medium density monomeric butyl modified silica phase for HPLC.

High purity spherical silica gel
Weakly hydrophobic, endcapped phase with polar selectivity for RP chromatography
Separation mechanism based on slight hydrophobic and selective residual silanol interactions

The wide pore RP phase (300 Å) is ideal for the separation of biological macromolecules like proteins or peptides in daily routine analysis.

EC guard columns are used for analytical EC columns with the Column Protection System guard column holder (554-5851).
