Cameras

Avantor offers the largest choice of cameras on the market. They cover most customers applications and market segments. If you are looking for an 'all in one' solution for microscopes, take a look at digital microscopes with an integrated camera.

As Avantor offers such a large range of cameras, you will find a selector to help you find the right one for you. The selector gives you the following choices:

Sensor type - Sensor size - Colour or monochrome - Resolution - Connectivity (USB or HDMI or other) - Application.

The USB cameras are most often used. They are ideal for general purpose and high-end view. The USB cameras require a software for extended image analysis, which can be on a CD or to be downloaded from the website.

The HDMI cameras offer several settings directly from the device by using a mouse (generally supplied) to select the preferred parameters.

Some models can be used with a software (via USB connection to PC) With HDMI cameras you can show pictures & videos on a beamer or external monitor.

Tablet cameras have an application on an iPad, or can use application software, depending on the type of camera. It is easy to share images. No PC is needed. Ideal for basic image analysis.

Eyepiece cameras

For basic applications, they can be easily added to a microscope, when there is not a phototube or a trinocular microscope.
