VWR® Talon® Support Stands

Support stands are made entirely of Type 303 stainless steel and can accommodate vessels up to 45.7cm (18”) in diameter within the sturdy U-shaped base. The threaded stainless steel support rod is 16mm (⁵/₈") in diameter and is screwed into the support stand base. Includes support rod.

Accessories include an extra stainless steel support rod, two choices of clamps, and stainless steel stabilizer bolts that are threaded to fit the extra holes in the base of the support stand. The stainless steel support stand clamp (58950-660) is designed with a precision fit to accept a 13mm (¹/₂") diameter support shaft and a 16mm (⁵/₈") diameter support rod on a support stand. Heavy-duty support clamp (14010-000) is made of a strong aluminum alloy and is fitted with oversized knobs for very secure positioning. It supports all shafts from 6 to 24mm (0.24 to 0.94") in diameter and supports rods on a 10.2 cm (4") long surface to avoid wobble and vibration.
