About this item

Polycap HD (Heavy Duty) capsule filter offers a broad range of particle size retention ratings and excellent filtrate purity with polypropylene filters (PP).

Polypropylene filters support use with a broad range of solutions, pH solutions, and temperatures
Sturdy construction leads to high flow and high retention capacity
Can be autoclaved with steam at 121 °C for 20 minutes
Manual vent with luer lock to bleed air from upstream or serve as an injection or sample port

Chemical processing applications often require a capsule filter to ensure a finishing step yielding high purity final product. Different solution temperatures and pH values can complicate filtration unless an adequate filter capsule is selected.

Due to its heat sealed construction and PP filter, Polycap HD (Heavy Duty) is suitable for filtering chemical solutions across wide temperature and pH ranges.
