Provides an aseptic seal for transferring high-purity fluids
Eight configurations permit precise matching of Top Works components to bottles and carboys. Polypropylene closures have center holes. They are modified to clamp a silicone stopper onto the bottle or carboy, creating a primary elastomeric seal. High-purity, platinum-cured silicone tubing ensures the fluid contact areas are crevice-free, which helps eliminate cross-contamination.
Materials are food-grade and noncytotoxic. Complies with U.S.P. Class VI requirements. Autoclavable.
For use with 125 mL to 50 L plastic bottles and carboys.
: Solid insert units are complete with closure and insert. Two-port insert units include closure, two-port insert, and two pieces of 6.35mm (1/4") I.D. tubing. 21020-216 includes closure, three-port insert, one piece of 9.5mm (3/8") I.D. tubing, and two pieces of 6.35mm (1/4") I.D. tubing. 21020-210 includes closure, three-port insert, one piece of 3.175mm (1/8") I.D. tubing, and two pieces of 6.35mm (1/4") I.D. tubing. 21020-204 is complete with closure, three-port insert, one piece of 6.35mm (1/4") I.D. tubing, and two pieces of 3.175mm (1/8") I.D. tubing.
