The Multi (Extraction) Mantle with three or six recesses has a built-in electronic controller and offers a choice of heater only (EME3 or EME6), or heater/stirrer (EMEA3 or EMEA6) combination. They may be used with the FM110 Flow Monitor. The vented case's unique air flow ensures the case remains "cool-to-the-touch".

Additional features are available for Heater/Stirrer EMEA3 and EMEA6 models only. Allow the solution to be stirred and heated simultaneously. Provide stirring speeds of between 50 to 1000rpm. One stirring control operates each set of three or six recesses.

Extraction heaters feature an independent heater per mantle, allowing liquids with different boiling points to be heated alongside each other. Each heater has its own control dial and on/off indicator light, and can reach up to a maximum element temperature of 450 °C (842 °F).

The control panel is safely separated from the heating elements by a well-ventilated air space. A quartz heating element is housed in a thermally insulated cartridge for easy replacement, extending the life of the heater. Powder-coated aluminum surfaces and polypropylene top cover ensure good chemical resistance and easy cleanup.
