Sturdy screw-thread vials have a conical interior bottom for maximum retrieval of content.

Vials can be used for small-scale reactions, centrifugation, storage, and shipping. They are ideal for use in the biochemical, pharmaceutical, and radiochemical industries. Fire-glazed bottom protects against glass particulates. Low-particulate packaging protects against contamination during transportation and storage. Clear vials are made from Wheaton 33* low extractable borosilicate glass to safeguard against a change in product pH caused by alkali, which can be extracted by ordinary glass. Amber vials are made from Wheaton 320 low extractable borosilicate glass. Caps are black, phenolic solid-top or open-top with fluoropolymer resin-faced 14B rubber liners.

Certifications: Clear vials conform to ASTM Type I, Class A, and USP Type I requirements. Amber vials conform to USP Type I requirements.
