The Vactrap™ 2 vacuum trap system adheres to the strictest CDC recommendations for laboratory safety in vacuum applications.

Ideal for protecting vacuum lines and users, Vactrap™ safely contains waste produced during supernatant removal, chemical separation, and cell or tissue culture media aspiration. Best of all, Vactrap™ comes ready to use, and fully assembled. Simply attach to your vacuum source and begin your experiment.

Vactrap™ is available as a one- or two-bottle complete system with safety bin, or as a one-bottle assembly without a bin. For the ultimate performance, the two-bottle system with bin is recommended. Offering 3l of total storage, this option's second bottle offers the greatest safety assurance and overflow prevention.

Accessories information: Vactrap™ Tubing Extensions allow users to extend their vacuum tubing up to 8 feet. Alternatively, a 50' roll of Vactrap tubing can be purchased and cut to length. And for users who love the Vactrap Bin, additional bins can be purchased separately.
Caution: Do not autoclave Safety Bin. Do not autoclave HDPE bottles. Always consult chemical compatibility charts or other reference materials before exposing plastics to organics or solvents.
