JB-4 Plus® is a unique polymer embedding system that provides a higher level of morphological detail than paraffin processed tissues

JB-4 Plus® is a water-soluble, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA), more commonly known as "glycol methacrylate", or GMA based, plastic resin kit intended for use in the preparation of temperature sensitive tissues. It produces harder blocks which is also ideal for dense samples, such as bone. Sections of JB-4 Plus® embedded material can be cut at 0.5 to 3.0 microns or thicker. Excellent for routine stains, special stains, and histochemical staining.

Ordering Information: Kit contains 500mL Solution A (Monomer), 15mL Solution B (Accelerator), 8g Catalyst (Benzoyl Peroxide, Plasticized).

JB-4 Plus® offers all the benefits of the regular JB-4 formulation, with the additional advantages of a cooler acting accelerator and the production of clearer blocks.
