Atomizers deliver a uniform spray mist of reagents onto thin layer chromatography plates whereas Nebulizers provide a fine mist for elemental analysis in spectrometric and spectroscopic applications . VWR offers wide range of atomizers, analytical nebulizers and supplies for atomic absorption. Many reagent atomizers have a screw-thread joint for connecting the sprayer head to the flask, and sprays can operate on very little air pressure, making them functional in a range of environmental conditions. Certain sprayers feature specially designed heads to eliminate the formation of droplets and spattering.
