Ampoules
Ampoules are used to contain and preserve liquid or solid samples, and are commonly fabricated from borosilicate glass. Many models of these ampoules are pre-scored to eliminate the need for filing and to make breaking easier and safer for the user. No preservatives are required due to airtight seal. Ampoules are very cost-effective for transporting small volumes of solutions for routine laboratory testing under stable conditions.
