Chemizorb® Hydrofluoric Acid (HF) is a powder mixture consisting of a synthetic copolymer as the absorbent, a calcium salt as a neutraliser and precipitant, and a pH indicator. The neutralisation process results in the release of CO₂. When the hydrofluoric acid has been neutralised, the colour of the indicator changes from red to orange/yellow.
