For use with aqueous samples, pre-wet the membrane with 3% MEOH and water, rinse with DI, and filter sample. The 4mm filters can be used for volumes less than 2mL. The 0.2µm pore size filter can be used for “cold” sterilization.

PVDF (polyvinylidene difluoride) is a hydrophilic, solvent-resistant membrane with low levels of UV absorbing extractables. Housing manufactured from medical grade, virgin polypropylene. Low nonspecific binding. Use for HPLC sample filtration and general biological filtration. PVDF is also a low protein binding membrane. Enhanced female Luer-lock inlet; male Luer slip outlet.
