These 25mm filters are ideal for scale up. Filters feature a polypropylene housing and a choice of four membrane types to assure compatibility with a wide range of fluids. Choose Supor® (hydrophilic polyethersulfone), Ultipor® (amphoteric Nylon N66), Fluorodyne® II (hydrophilic polyvinylidene fluoride), or Posidyne® (positively-charged Nylon N66) membrane. PVDF (polyvinylidene difluoride) is a hydrophilic, solvent-resistant membrane with low levels of UV absorbing extractables. Housing manufactured from medical grade, virgin polypropylene. Low nonspecific binding. Use for HPLC sample filtration and general biological filtration. PVDF is also a low protein binding membrane. Enhanced female Luer-lock inlet; male Luer slip outlet. The 4mm filters can be used for volumes less than 2mL. The 0.2µm pore size filter can be used for “cold” sterilization.
