These cutting tweezers are generally designed to cut 0.010" soft wire. They are made of high grade carbon steel with flame hardened edges. The precision of the points allow for work under magnification. This tool is considered a tip cutter in that the blades meet most predominately at the tip. All of the force applied to the tweezer gets transferred to the points. We offer a variety of added features, such as medical grade (M), parallel cutting blades (PB), optimum flush cut (OF), ergonomic (ET) and stainless steel (S).
