These PYREX® desiccators have a rugged 24/29 standard tapered stopcock with a tooled hose connection that serves as the vacuum inlet.

• The tubulation Ext.Ø is approximately 10 mm
• Material is Borosilicate Glass Code 7740
• This design eliminates the need for grease

It is designed so that its manipulation is not affected by the vacuum. To introduce vacuum into the desiccator, loosen the stopcock to disengage the PTFE plug from contact with the glass. A half turn from this position closes the desiccator.

Replacement covers and stopcock are listed in the Order tab below. The recommended replacement lower bowls which are interchangeable with these desiccators, are as follows: for the 2.4 L desiccator, use replacement bowl Cat. No. 89134-388; for the 5.8 L desiccator, use replacement bowl Cat. No. 89134-394; and for the 10.5 L desiccator, use replacement bowl Cat. No. 89134-400.
