The sample lock termination incorporates an on/off syringe valve with removable needle. This termination is used for headspace, environmental sample collection and storage, pre-pressurization of gaseous samples for GC analysis, and sample spiking.

Point style 2 is a sharp, beveled, curved, non-coring needle point recommended for septum penetration.

Optional male luer and female luer lock adapters (sold separately) threads onto the SampleLock™ valve, making the syringes compatible with a multitude of connectors and fittings.

An easy-to-use twist valve and a positive rear stop prevents loss of sample and plunger blowout. Fluid path includes SST, borosilicate glass, and PTFE. Not autoclavable. Gas sterilizable.
