Molded from a special high density polymer, these disposable cassettes keep specimens safely submerged in liquid and are totally resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. Cassettes have six numbered compartments measuring 7x12mm (5/16x1/2"). The cover and base have over 3000 square openings of 0.26mm to maximize fluid exchange and ensure proper drainage. The mesh ensures efficient fluid exchange and drainage. The one-piece integral lid eliminates the need for separate steel lids. They can be opened and closed as often as necessary and they always relock securely without danger of specimen loss. Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassettes for convenience. Anterior writing area is at a 45° angle to make the cassette more suitable and for use with certain types of cassette labeling instruments. Available in 11 noncytotoxic, nonmetallic colors.
