Coveralls are available with either bound or taped seams. Garments with bound seams feature multiple interlocking threads sewn around the raw edges of garment material to create strong, stress-resistant seams. Taped seams offer stronger resistance against heavy liquid splashes. Garments with taped seams feature a sewn seam covered with a strip of compatible chemical-resistant material through heatsealing. All coveralls are equipped with a standard fit hood and elastic openings at the wrists and ankles for secure fitting. A storm flap covers the front zipper, and can be sealed with an adhesive strip to further prevent intrusion.
