Graduated polyethylene terephthalate copolyester bottles are inexpensive alternatives to glass media bottles.

Media bottles are radiation sterilized (SAL of 10⁻⁶) and nonpyrogenic to eliminate costly washing, depyrogenation, and autoclaving steps. A heat-shrink band around the closure and neck provide a tamper-evident seal.

These heavy-walled, break-resistant, durable bottles are transparent and offer reduced permeability to CO₂ and O₂.
