You searched for: BOD Bottles
Biological oxygen demand (BOD) bottles are used to determine the amount of oxygen required during stabilization of decomposing organic matter by aerobic action. The containers are used for incubating diluted samples of sewage, sewage effluents, polluted water, and industrial waste. Made from borosilicate glass, these bottles have a high chemical resistance. BOD bottles come with a permanently screened label and are available with glass stoppers. Models utilizing darker glass are ideal for handling light-sensitive samples.

Ideal for incubating diluted samples of sewage, sewage effluents, polluted waters, and industrial wastes. These 60 mL borosilicate glass bottles feature a shoulder radius that sweeps all air from inside the bottle during filling. The interchangeable stoppers have a tapered bottom that also prevents air entrapment. Bottles have a flared mouth to form a water seal around the stopper that prevents air from being drawn inside during incubation. The bottles are designed with a permanently screened-on label and are available with either glass robotic stoppers or glass pennyhead stoppers.
