In this webinar, we briefly summarise the benefits of UHPLC, and the practical use of novel phase chemistries for method development to maximise selectivity and resolution.

The talk begins with a complex related substances, triple API plus 14 impurities combination medicine method development activity. Column screening and software modelling provide the final successful separation of all analytes. The discussion continues with the analysis of a peptide digest, gradient time and flow rate optimisation. Finally, column coupling is used for various natural product analyses, where higher peak capacity values offer improved sample knowledge. Pressure- and temperature-induced effects on retention are discussed as a reminder of some of the potential challenges with UHPLC analysis.
