These TOC standards were developed for a broad and routine set of applications. They can be used on a wide variety of instruments including where instrument-specific standards are not required.

Total organic carbon (TOC) is the amount of carbon found in an organic compound. It is often used as a non specific indicator both for water quality and cleanliness of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
TOC may also refer to the amount of organic carbon in soil, or in a geological formation.

TOC analysis acc. to EN 1484-H3.
This EU standard has been implemented for the analysis of TOC (replacing DIN 38409-H3). It regulates and provides guidelines for the determination of Total Organic Carbon (TOC) in different types of water (drinking, waste, ground, surface or lake). Our TOC standards (acc. to EN 1484) are especially designed for the easy calibration of TOC instruments according to this EU standard and to guarantee reliable analytical results.
