VWR® offers air cooled condenser for a rapid freeze/thaw process for pharmaceutical and bioprocessing applications, greatly reducing the freeze or thaw conditioning time from days or weeks to hours. It can rapidly freeze and thaw from -80 to +40 °C.

VWR® controlled rate chamber enables fast, uniform bulk freezing and thawing of protein or products contained in a variety of containers (bags, bottles or any size containers) such as single use system (SUS), polycarbonate vessels or polypropylene vessels. The air cooled condenser has an Auto defrost program, EZ1 Key Touch and heat reduction of 38,000 BTU/hr (11 Kw/hr).
The unit has a recovery time of <10 minutes following door being opened at -80 °C.
