About this item

Glass microfiber filters are made of 100% borosilicate glass, and it is highly pure and extremely white in colour. Fast flow rates with high load capacity and high retention of fine particles. It can even withstand temperature up to 500 °C.
These Glass microfiber filters find application in:

Air pollution monitoring and estimation of the suspended particles in air
As a pre filter in highly coarse sample in HPLC analysis ideal for pre filtration to enhance sample volume of syringe filters
Removal of precipitates in ion-pair reagents
Clarification of reagents and solutions in spectrophotometry
Determination of sediment in petroleum products

These are completely binder free, hence no leaching and no contamination of filtrate, biologically inert, non hygroscopic.
