With its extra wide design, the Midi ExW is ideal when there is a need to run lots of samples (up to 200) in just a short distance, for example, when genotyping. This format, along with its compact footprint, offers rapid run times without compromising on power. The result is a system for high throughput sample processing, generating crisp clear band data. As with all PerfectBlue gel systems, gels can be poured directly in the trays at temperatures up to +60 °C. With the Midi ExW, the trays can be walled with effective gasketed 'end gates' which are supplied in the system.
