The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA DS 96 Kit is designed for difficult samples (DS) which are hard to lyse or contain high amounts of polysaccharides and polyphenols. The system uses a CTAB-based lysis buffer which does not require organic solvents. The proprietary binding system prevents inhibitors from binding to the magnetic beads. The E-Z 96® Total RNA Kit is designed for isolation of total cellular RNA from up to 5×10⁶ cultured cells or soft tissues. This kit can process single or multiple samples in less than 60 minutes. Utilising HiBind® silica plate technology, the need for phenol/chloroform extractions, CsCl gradient ultracentrifugation, and precipitation with isopropanol or LiCl are eliminated. Samples are lysed in a denaturing lysis buffer which inactivates RNases. Binding conditions are adjusted and the lysate is transferred to a 96-well HiBind® RNA Plate where the RNA is purified via three wash steps. High quality RNA is eluted in RNase-free water. The E.Z.N.A.® Endo-Free plasmid mini kit II integrates an efficient endotoxin removal step into the plasmid purification procedure to produce high-quality transfection grade (<0,1 EU/µg) plasmid for efficient transfection. The bacterial cells are lysed using the alkaline-SDS lysis method. The cleared cell lysate is then treated with ETR reagent to efficiently remove the endotoxins. After adjusting the binding condition, the cell lysate is applied into the HiBind® DNA column and purified DNA is eluted from the column membrane.
