Anti-WIZ Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-WIZ Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

WIZ Antibody: WIZ, also known as ZNF803, was initially identified in a mouse cerebellum cDNA library screen and its message was found to be expressed in the granule cell layers of the cerebellum as well as in the dentate gyrus and olfactory bulb. Later analysis indicates however that WIZ is ubiquitously expressed. WIZ is a nuclear protein that co-localizes with G9a, a histone methyltransferase responsible for mono- and dimethylation of H3K9 at euchromatic regions. WIZ can also associate with CtBP family proteins, known to be transcriptional co-repressors, and has been suggested to link G9a/GLP complexes to the CtBP co-repressor machinery, possibly regulating complex stability and gene silencing.

Anti-BAZ1A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor® 350)

Supplier: Bioss

Component of the ACF complex, an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex, that regulates spacing of nucleosomes using ATP to generate evenly spaced nucleosomes along the chromatin. The ATPase activity of the complex is regulated by the length of flanking DNA. Also involved in facilitating the DNA replication process. BAZ1A is the accessory, non-catalytic subunit of the complex which can enhance and direct the process provided by the ATPase subunit, SMARCA5, probably through targeting pericentromeric heterochromatin in late S phase. Moves end-positioned nucleosomes to a predominantly central position. May have a role in nuclear receptor-mediated transcription repression.Component of the histone-fold protein complex CHRAC complex which faciliates nucleosome sliding by the ACF complex and enhances ACF-mediated chromatin assembly. The C-terminal regions of both CHRAC1 and POLE1 are required for these functions.

Anti-ZCRB1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-ZCRB1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: ProSci Inc.

ZCRB1 Antibody: ZCRB1 is a nuclear protein first identified in a differential display screen involving morphine-dependence-related genes. Its expression is increased following morphine treatment and has been observed to be elevated in HepG2 cells. ZCRB1 contains a CCHC-type zing finger RNA-binding motif and can interact with the DBA-binding domain of the stem cell regulator C/EBP transcription factors. ZCRB1 was identified as one of the protein components of U11/U12 snRNPs, which are components of U12-type spliceosome and function as a molecular bridge connecting both ends of the intron, suggesting ZCRB1 may play a key role in U12-type splicing.

Anti-ZBTB17 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (HRP (Horseradish Peroxidase))

Supplier: Bioss

The Myc family, including c-Myc-, N-Myc- and L-Myc, are nuclear proteins with relatively short half lives that contribute an important role in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and transformation. The c-Myc protein activates transcription as part of a heteromeric complex with a number of interacting partners, including Max and Mxi 1; however the transforming properties of the Myc proto-oncogene are believed to be associated with Myc-mediated transcriptional repression. A POZ domain Zn finger protein, designated Miz-1 for Myc-interacting Zn finger protein-1, is a specific target of Myc-induced gene repression. Miz-1 interacts with Myc, but not Max or other Myc partners, and binding of Myc to Miz-1 requires the helix-loop-helix domain of Myc and a short amphipathic helix located in the carboxy-terminus of Miz-1. Miz-1 associates with DNA elements on the adenovirus major late and cyclin D1 promoters and activates transcription of both promoters. Expression of Miz-1 induces potent growth arrest function, and this latency is reversed by the addition of Myc.

Anti-ZNF843 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Bioss

ZNF843 is a 348 amino acid protein that is encoded by a gene which maps to chromosome 16. Chromosome 16 encodes over 900 genes in approximately 90 million base pairs, makes up nearly 3% of human cellular DNA and is associated with a variety of genetic disorders. The GAN gene is located on chromosome 16 and, with mutation, may lead to giant axonal neuropathy, a nervous system disorder characterized by increasing malfunction with growth. The rare disorder Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome is also associated with chromosome 16 through the CREBBP gene which encodes a critical CREB binding protein. Signs of Rubinstein-Taybi include mental retardation and predisposition to tumor growth and white blood cell neoplasias. Crohn's disease is a gastrointestinal inflammatory condition associated with chromosome 16 through the NOD2 gene. An association with systemic lupus erythematosis and a number of other autoimmune disorders with the pericentromeric region of chromosome 16 has led to the identification of SLC5A11 as a potential autoimmune modifier. The ZNF843 gene product has been provisionally designated MGC46336 pending further characterization.

Anti-ZBTB40 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Cy7®)

Supplier: Bioss

Chromosome 1 is the largest human chromosome spanning about 260 million base pairs and making up 8% of the human genome. There are about 3,000 genes on chromosome 1, and considering the great number of genes there are also a large number of diseases associated with chromosome 1. Notably, the rare aging disease Hutchinson-Gilford progeria is associated with the LMNA gene which encodes lamin A. When defective, the LMNA gene product can build up in the nucleus and cause characteristic nuclear blebs. The mechanism of rapidly enhanced aging is unclear and is a topic of continuing exploration. The MUTYH gene is located on chromosome 1 and is partially responsible for familial adenomatous polyposis. Stickler syndrome, Parkinsons, Gaucher disease and Usher syndrome are also associated with chromosome 1. A breakpoint has been identified in 1q which disrupts the DISC1 gene and is linked to schizophrenia. Aberrations in chromosome 1 are found in a variety of cancers including head and neck cancer, malignant melanoma and multiple myeloma.
