Protein labelling reagent, iodoTMTzero™

:
- Pk:5 Tests
- Description:iodoTMTzero™ label reagent, 5×0.2 mg
The iodoTMTzero™ label reagent can be used as an isotopic 'light' duplex tag for MS-level protein quantitation.
- Only reacts with sulfhydryl groups (reduced, unmodified cysteine residues), thus making it specific
- Labeled proteins and peptides are not susceptible to reducing agents
- Options for duplex isotopic (MS) or sixplex isobaric (MS/MS) quantitation
- Can be used to study cysteine modifications (e.g. di-sulfide bridges, S-nitrosylation) making it versatile
This tag, along with the iodoTMTsixplex™ reagents can enable the quantitation of protein expression changes in cell-based and tissue samples that may not be amenable to metabolic isotopic labeling strategies (eg. SILAC).
