Ideal for high throughput screening, these 384-well microplates allow miniaturisation of assays and many other applications, including high volume DNA library manipulation and solid phase binding assays. Available with a choice of clear microplates for colorimetric applications, white plates for luminometric/fluorometric applications, and black microplates for fluorometric applications. There are two different designs, both of which incorporate flat bottom wells and a standard microplate footprint. The first type has a square well shape with rounded corners for an increased well volume. It has the standard microplate height and a total well volume of 120 µl.
