The Microlab® 600 dispensers are highly precise syringe pumps with a touchscreen graphical user interface designed to quickly and easily dispense liquids. This positive displacement system provides better than 99% accuracy, independent of liquid viscosity, vapour pressure and temperature. The inert fluid path minimises sample carry over and improves compatibility with harsh chemicals. There are three different dispenser models available.

The 900 series syringe is the economical version of the 800 series syringe. This series of syringes is ideal for dispensing volumes from 0,5 μl up to 10 μl. The syringe holder is permanently attached to the syringe barrel. This reduces the initial cost of the syringe but eliminates the possibility of replacement components.

Suitable for applications such as GC, TLC and micro pipetting. Manufactured according to the principle of dead volume by positive pressure. A tungsten piston is introduced into the syringe as far as the tip of the needle. Needle and piston are calibrated against each other and must be changed at the same time in the event of replacement.

Specifically designed for rapidly cleaning 7000 series modified Microliter™ syringes, this syringe cleaner also effectively cleans Microliter™ and Gastight® syringes. A combination of heat (approximately 370 °C) and vacuum vaporises and extracts contaminants from the needle. The syringe cleaner is ineffective for septa-plugged needles, seised plungers and other irreparable needles.

The needle points of these thin layer chromatography syringes are covered with a PTFE coating which reduces the surface tension between the needle and the liquid making it ideal for reproducible sample spotting.

The 1000 series is a mid volume Gastight® syringe. Gastight® syringes are ideal for dispensing both liquids and gases. They have a precision machined PTFE plunger tip which creates a leak-free seal. With the tight fit, the tip essentially wipes the interior of the syringe barrel free of sample. This feature is particularly useful with heterogeneous samples as it reduces the chance that a deposit will occur and cause the plunger to freeze.

PRP-1 polymeric HPLC columns are designed for broad ranging uses, similar to C8 or C18 HPLC materials. They combine the best characteristics of silica-based and polymeric columns resulting in highly inert and long-lasting columns. These columns are ideal for applications that require a high degree of column to column and batch to batch consistency (quality assurance, clinical trials). Unlike C8 or C18 columns, PRP-1 has no stationary phase coating. Since there is no stationary phase to hydrolyse, the column maintains its performance characteristics longer than many C8 or C18 columns.
