Integral support rod holder with locking knob accepts the optional support rod and clamp kit. Microprocessor control regulates heating and stirring functions. Ceramic tops feature a chemically resistant, reflective white top plate surface that is easy to clean. Durable aluminium tops will not crack or chip, and provide a more even heating surface. For additional safety, a hot symbol warning light is illuminated when heat is turned on and remains on until top plate cools down. Stir protection automatically shuts down the heater if the motor stops, over temperature protection ensures unit will shut down if it exceeds the set temperature by 10 °C. Built-in memory allows users to recall last set temperature even when unit has been turned off.
